Notices

What this documentation site is built from, and the licences that apply to the parts that are not Overpass's own.

Fonts

This site loads no font from anywhere else. The two typefaces are files on this server, from the same packages the Draughtsman application bundles. Both are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1, and the full licence texts are included.

FontVersionCopyrightLicence text
Inter (variable, Latin subset)5.3.0 (@fontsource-variable/inter)Copyright 2016 The Inter Project Authors (https://github.com/rsms/inter)OFL-Inter.txt
JetBrains Mono (variable, Latin subset)5.3.0 (@fontsource-variable/jetbrains-mono)Copyright 2020 The JetBrains Mono Project Authors (https://github.com/JetBrains/JetBrainsMono)OFL-JetBrainsMono.txt

The diagrams on Diagram types embed a reduced subset of Inter (Latin letters, digits and common punctuation, weights 400 to 600) inside each SVG file so their text keeps its shape when an SVG is shown as an image. The subset is a modified version of the Font Software and is distributed under the same licence; Inter's reserved font name is not used for any other font.

The Draughtsman application

The application's own third-party licence notices (the npm and NuGet packages it is built from, and the bundled Node runtime) ship in every archive as THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt and DOTNET-THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt, and the running application serves the first at /THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt.

What the Windows and Arm archives add

The win-arm64 archive carries an official Node 22 build for Arm64, downloaded from nodejs.org and checked against its published SHA-256 before it is packed (the pin is in the release scripts). The Windows archives carry the x64 PDF driver, because Playwright ships no Arm64 Windows driver; Windows on Arm runs it under emulation. Their third-party licence texts are in the archive's two notices files like every other platform's; those files are generated from the package lock files and the NuGet assets file, never edited by hand, and a dependency whose licence is not on the generator's allow-list stops the release until a person has reviewed it. The notice for the bundled @fontsource fonts (Inter and JetBrains Mono) is unchanged.

Images

  • Every screenshot is of Draughtsman 0.1.0, taken in a real browser at 1440 pixels wide on a scratch instance with made-up demonstration data (the first pass from a release archive; the refreshes of 1 October 2026 and 5 October 2026 from the build of the repository's main branch, commit 0b50023). Personal paths were replaced with neutral ones. The addresses shown (@overpass.example, @example.invalid) are made up, and the reset link in one picture belongs to a scratch server that no longer exists.
  • The diagrams are Draughtsman's own SVG export of documents made for this site.
  • The two architecture pictures on the Overview and Security pages are Draughtsman's SVG export of diagrams drawn in Draughtsman through its own MCP server.
  • The Draughtsman by Overpass logo (a compass mark with the line "by Overpass") and the page icons in assets/logo/ are Overpass's own artwork, used unaltered, with a light and a dark version that follow your system setting. Please do not reuse them without permission. (Screenshots of the product show the product's own interface, including whatever logo a given theme draws.)

Privacy of this site

These pages set no cookies, store nothing in your browser and make no requests to any other site. The one script (assets/site.js, about 3 KB) builds the "On this page" list and opens and closes the menu on a narrow screen. The pages read the same without it. Any link that leaves the site is marked "(external)".
